Biodesign Summer School
From 20 to 24 July, the Living Design Academy by ISMAT hosts an intensive Biodesign Summer School, bringing together international specialists and ISMAT researchers for a week of experimentation, collaboration and hands-on exploration in biodesign and biomaterials.
Directed by Professor Susana Leonor, Director of the Master in Biodesign, the programme offers participants the opportunity to engage with emerging approaches at the intersection of biology, design, sustainability and innovation.

Circular Design Workshop - July 2026
Circular Design & NPE Workshop
From 8 to 10 July, the Living Design Academy by ISMAT presents an intensive workshop on Circular Design and Nature Positive Economy, exploring regenerative approaches to design, sustainability and territorial innovation.
Directed by Professor Américo Mateus, Director of the Master in Design for Circular Economy, the workshop brings together design methodologies, systems thinking and emerging perspectives on circular and nature-positive futures through talks, collaborative activities and applied experimentation.
