Study Programs
From foundational design skills to advanced exploration of circular systems and biodesign, students are encouraged to move beyond traditional approaches and engage with design as a driver of transformation — shaping not only products and services, but also systems, materials and relationships.
Through a combination of critical thinking, experimentation and hands-on learning, the Academy fosters a new generation of designers capable of working with living systems, emerging technologies and sustainable practices.
At the Living Design Academy, education unfolds as a continuous journey across the first, second and future third cycles of study — from foundations to advanced research, from learning to transformation. While the Bachelor builds a solid base in creativity, critical thinking and contemporary design, the Master’s programs deepen knowledge in circular design and biodesign, preparing students to address complex environmental and technological challenges. Looking ahead, the development of a third cycle will further strengthen the integration of research and innovation.
Here, design is not confined to disciplines, but expanded into a practice that engages with living systems, circular processes and emerging technologies. Supported by the Green BioLab, XR Lab and Fab Lab, students move between thinking and making, exploring materials, environments and futures through experimentation.
This evolving pathway is extended through the Living Design Collective — a shared space where education meets research, where projects become networks, and where students, researchers and partners come together to shape regenerative futures.
