Developed within the Design Office IV course of the Design program at ISMAT, the HealthCare Project explores design solutions to support elderly autonomy in domestic environments, addressing challenges such as medication management, mobility and social isolation.
The project resulted in RODA+, an integrated system combining a smart mobility support device with a digital interface that assists users in daily routines, providing alerts, health monitoring and easy access to essential functions.
By combining inclusive design, assistive technology and user-centred approaches, RODA+ enhances safety, independence and quality of life, while also supporting caregivers through remote monitoring and interaction
